Description:

 As Digicel’s BI Analyst you will:  

  • Collaborate with business partners to identify areas in which business intelligence efforts can add business value and delivers high-quality data visualization solutions
  • Interact with relevant stakeholders to understand requirements for providing personalized data information
  • Analyse data in order to provide insights on customer behaviour and campaigns’ performance for the customer value management team
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets to enable business to make data-driven decisions
  • Implement tools (e.g., Power Bi, Tableau) that help data consumers extract, analyse, and visualize data faster through efficient data pipelines
  • Help business define KPI rules, and harmonize and reliably-track KPIs across the organization
  • Automate reports to improve efficiency, and build real-time refreshing reports to provide timely insights to businesses
  • Coach business partners on how to utilize dashboard reports and make improvements to increase readability and usability

Requirements:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytic reporting
  • Knowledge of BI tooling (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with Python or R required; SQL preferred
  • Strong analysis and pattern recognition skills, as well as synthesis skills, to be able to streamline work
  • Ability to configure automated reporting processes preferred
  • Strong data presentation and visualization skills; experience and formal training with data visualization tools preferred (e.g., Tableau)
  • Experience accessing and working with large data sources/models (e.g., Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server) 
  • Technical expertise in database development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
