Primary objective of the job: 

  • Responsible for the managing all the the operational activities across internal and external stakeholders and providing administrative, and sales support to the PSM  

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

General:

  • Responsible for managing the operational activities across all channels within KSA.
  • Dealer Stores & Grey Market:

  • Responsible for communicating targets to all stores each month that have been provided by PSM. This should be communicated no later than 1 week prior to the beginning of each month.
  • Responsible for coordinating weekly meetings with stores to track the performance of their store/staff. These meetings will be lead by PSM or POM in absence of PSM.
  • Weekly follow up with store managers/supervisors to ensure they are providing requisite tracking and coaching of staff performance. Escalate any sales related issue arising to PSM as deemed necessary.
  • Liaise with store managers/supervisors weekly to ensure they are no operational inefficiencies impacting store revenue performance. Identify potential problems and points of friction and work with key stakeholders to resolve these issues in a timely manner to ensure implemented solutions maximize operational efficiency and revenue. Escalate any issue arising to PSM as deemed necessary.
  • Responsible for monthly visits to stores to identify opportunities for improvement of operational efficiencies. Submit plan of action for identified opportunities.
  • Provide oversight support to RLs in identifying branding/signage opportunities within the channel. Share recommendations with PSM.
  • Responsible for liaising weekly with store managers/supervisors to ensure they have sufficient store stock (Recharge, postpaid SIMS, prepaid Sims etc).
  • Onboarding New Prepaid POS:

  • Provide support to PSM in onboarding new prepaid POS. This will include but not be limited to: prospecting new POS, doing presentations, collecting and submitting requisite documentation, doing requisite follow-up to close.
  • Assist in processing of all new POS application and documents received by PSM and RLs.
  • Liaise with requisite training stakeholder(s) to provide requisite training to New POS locations.
  • Support to Route Leads (RL)s:

  • Responsible for sharing targets with RL that have been provided by PSM. This should be communicated no later than 1 week prior to the beginning of each month.
  • Responsible for communicating MTD performance achievement to RLs three times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays) via email, SMS and/or WhatsApp.
  • Responsible for processing the commission of RLs on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring the RLs have the requisite tools they need to perform their duties on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the PSM to ensure the RLs receive the requisite product, promotion and sales training, on an on-going and continuous basis.
  • Responsible for collating reports of RLs on a weekly basis and submitting to PSM on Fridays by 3:00 p.m.
  • Market Research:

  • Conduct market research and market intelligence actions on a recurring monthly basis to monitor competitor and industry activities. This information should be compiled in a report format with recommendations and submitted to the PSM by the 28th of each month.
  • Sales Support:

  • Responsible for populating monthly sales activities and sales promotions information provided by the PSM in required excel spreadsheet that has been created and is managed by the Operations HOD.
  • Doing requisite follow-up with Operations HOD to ensure that scheduled promotions have the requisite support and resources and will be executed as planned.
  • Be on call, as required by the PSM, to provide sales support in any channel.
  • Reporting:
  • Provide a PowerPoint report fortnightly and monthly to capture all operational and sales activities completed by POM and Route Leads during each respective period. Reports are to be submitted on the 15th and 28th of each month by 12noon. Where the date falls on a weekend, the report is to be submitted on the Friday.

Academic qualifications and experience required:

  • Must  possess an associate Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Seven + years sales Experience  
  • Two years’ experience in a telecoms or similar environment
  • Experience of a target driven environment
