Job Release Specialist

The Job Release Specialist is responsible for accurately processing incoming production orders and creating a complete, current Job Bag/Docket for each job.

Department: Prepress – Order Processing / Job Release
Location: Caroni | Type: Full-Time Mon to Fri: 8am - 4:30pm
Reports to: Prepress Manager

At LH Group (Label Division), the Job Bag is the starting line for everything that follows, Prepress, Plate Making, Inks, and Production. We’re looking for a Job Release Specialist to help us standardize how jobs are prepared, controlled, and released, so every job moves forward with clarity, accuracy, and speed.

What you’ll do (the core of the role)

✅ Create and control Job Bags/Dockets with complete, current, and correct documentation
✅ Validate incoming orders (specs, quantities, due dates, special instructions)
✅ Confirm required inputs & approvals (artwork, “what to match”, customer/internal sign‑offs)
✅ Update ERP/MIS status and keep documentation aligned to the latest revision
✅ Identify gaps early: place jobs ON HOLD when minimum requirements are not met and assign owners
✅ Coordinate with Planning, Job Engineering, Prepress & Plate Making to support work‑ahead readiness
✅ Support QC Gate discipline - own the Job Bag Readiness standard

You’re a strong fit if you have

• Experience in print production support, prepress, customer service, planning, or order processing
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with specifications and controlled documents
• Confidence communicating with multiple teams and following escalation paths
• Ability to work under timelines and manage priorities calmly
• Basic proficiency with ERP/MIS systems (or willingness to learn)
• Experience working in Excel and other Microsoft applications

Bonus points if you know: labels, flexographic/digital workflows, or prepress file basics.
