Position: Janitor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Janitor to help us maintain a clean, secure, and well-functioning work environment. The role involves both light and heavy cleaning duties as needed. To succeed in this position, you should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the building and property
• Perform routine maintenance activities
• Conduct heavy cleaning duties when required
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Clean windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning agents
• Prepare cleaning solutions and chemicals according to instructions
• Follow safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage and ensure safety
• Shampoo or steam-clean carpets and rugs

Qualifications:

• HEART Level II or higher certificate in housekeeping (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferred)
