The Role
The Investment Banking Manager identifies, structures, and executes debt, equity, and M&A transactions while leading the credit unit. The role manages complex deal execution end-to-end, drives portfolio growth, and develops new investment products to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and execute corporate finance transactions across debt, equity, M&A, restructurings, and recapitalizations.
- Develop and review financial models, valuations, projections, and macroeconomic assessments.
- Prepare proposals, transaction documents, and presentations within required timelines.
- Identify acquisition targets and support new product development.
- Drive credit portfolio profitability through risk analysis, deal structuring, pricing, negotiations, and documentation.
- Oversee loan applications, credit analyses, portfolio monitoring, and regulatory reporting.

- Effective execution of transaction mandates and client engagements.
Required Experience
- Minimum five years’ experience in financial modelling and capital markets.
- Three to five years’ supervisory experience in the investment banking space.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline.
- Certification in Securities/Financial Markets required.
- MBA or professional qualification is an asset.
- CFA designation preferred.
