Inventory Systems Analyst

Global Brands Group is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory System Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Inventory System Manager, this role is vital in ensuring the accuracy of our restaurant inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily and weekly wastage entries from all locations.
• Identify unusual or excessive wastage trends and flag discrepancies.

• Validate invoices against purchase orders and system entries.
• Ensure all invoices are correctly recorded and accurately reflected in the inventory system.

• Review all inter-store and warehouse transfers for accuracy.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely posting of transfers.
• Investigate mismatches or unposted transfers and coordinate corrections.

• Assist with the daily, weekly and monthly counts.
• Analyze inventory variances and provide actionable insights to reduce shrink.

• Monitor area managers’ count submissions to ensure they are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Follow up with managers on late, missing, or incorrect submissions.
• Maintain a centralized record of all count reports.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical skills or background is an asset
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
