Join H3 Restaurant’s dynamic back-of-house team! We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Inventory Officer to help us keep our stock levels optimized and our kitchen and canteen operating smoothly

The Inventory Officer is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and issuing food, beverage, and supply items, ensuring proper stock control, and maintaining records for audit and accountability. This role directly supports operational efficiency and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Receive, label, and store all incoming goods in line with safety and food handling guidelines.
  • Record stock movements in the inventory management system.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts.
  • Monitor stock levels and report low or excessive inventory.

Stock Replenishment

  • Generate stock requisitions and transfer orders based on par levels.
  • Assist with preparing orders to replenish inventory.
  • Manage on-the-road pick up of inventory
  • Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) practices are strictly followed.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Assist with variance reporting between physical and system records.
  • Support the Inventory Supervisor during audits and stocktakes.

Operational Compliance

  • Ensure all stock areas are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
  • Flag slow-moving, expired, or damaged goods.
  • Follow SOPs for receiving, issuing, and transferring goods.                                                           

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Associate degree or vocational training in Inventory, Logistics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory, storekeeping, or warehouse operations (restaurant or hospitality preferred)
  • Proficiency with Excel and inventory software
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle
