Inventory Manager

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of inventory management within the organization. This role ensures accurate stock levels, efficient order fulfillment, and minimal inventory costs while preventing shortages or overstocking.

The Inventory Manager works closely with procurement, operations team to align inventory practices with the business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control and Optimization:
• Monitor stock levels and adjust inventory practices to meet demand fluctuations.
• Implement strategies to reduce holding costs while maintaining adequate stock availability.
• Develop and enforce inventory control systems and best practices.
• Collaborate with operations and procurement team to predict future inventory needs.
• Analyze historical data and trends to forecast stock requirements.
Stock Reconciliation and Reporting:
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed inventory reports for management and shareholders.
• Ensure team compliance with company policies and safety standards.
System Management:
• Use inventory management software to track and manage stock.

Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Studies in Inventory, Procurement, Maths or Accounting.
Experience in inventory management and logistics
Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel
Must be highly organized
Possess Good time management skill
Must be good at data analysis
Expert reporting skills is a plus
