The Airport Dining Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the movement of food & non-food inventory delivered and issued to multiple airport dining outlets. This role ensures accuracy & traceability of inventory movement while supporting operational efficiency, cost control & compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Ordering, Receiving & Verification
• Accurately order and receive all inventory for Airport Dining at the central location and verify quantities, quality, pricing, and specifications against purchase orders and/or invoices.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or overages in a timely manner.
• Ensure all received inventory meets food safety, quality, and airport compliance standards.
Inventory Control & Documentation
• Accurately record all inventory movements (receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments) using the company’s inventory management or ERP system.
• Maintain up-to-date stock records for all categories including food, beverage, disposables, packaging, and operating supplies.
• Assign inventory to the correct outlet, cost center, or department to ensure accurate costing and reporting.
Distribution to Outlets
• Coordinate and execute the timely and accurate distribution of inventory from the central location to multiple airport dining outlets.
• Prepare transfer documentation and ensure outlet operators acknowledge receipt of goods.
• Monitor par levels and usage trends to support efficient replenishment and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Auditing & Compliance
• Conduct regular inventory counts, spot checks, and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify variances.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, food safety regulations, airport security requirements, and company policies.
Reporting & Communication
• Prepare inventory reports including usage, variances, slow-moving items, and shrinkage.
• Communicate effectively with department manager, supervisors, team leads, purchasing, finance, and operations teams regarding inventory needs and issues.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory processes and audits.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferably in food & beverage, hospitality, or airport environments.
• Experience managing inventory across multiple outlets or locations is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory systems, stock movement, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) and handling procedures is an asset.

• Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory (up to specified weight limits).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by airport operations.
• Must meet airport security clearance requirements.
