Job Summary

• The incumbent is required to carry out general warehouse and stores duties in an efficient and accurate manner. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage stock processing from receiving to unloading/offloading/packing of the goods for and from transporting while inspecting for accuracy against the shipping documents.  

• Ensure that all stock is assigned appropriately, conveyed and correctly stored in designated bin locations while assuring that all transactions are properly recorded.  

• Order incoming transfers and coordinate deliveries from outgoing depots.  

• Pick and issue stock from locations to the staging areas. 

• Pack and mark/tag items for dispatch to the customers which includes proper receiving for SORs physically and systematically.  

• Assist in information for claims for shortages and surpluses.  

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock transactions.  

• Monitor and replenish stock in stores.  

• Mantle and dismantle racks/bins and re-organize shelves to optimize spacing. 

• Manage all methods of communication for queries and requests.  

• Ability to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment e.g. forklifts; pallet jacks etc.  

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 CXC passes.

Previous Experience:

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in inventory control will be considered an asset. 

Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience within automotive wholesale or dealership. 
• Proven ability to analyze information and reporting data with accuracy.  
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inventory issues.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and external customers.
