Unicomer (Barbados) Limited is seeking a qualified Inventory Control Clerk to join our team.

Unicomer (Barbados) Limited is seeking a qualified Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in monitoring and maintaining records of stock movements both in and out, ensuring accuracy is maintained throughout the year through scheduled cycle counts.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Conduct in-depth investigations into inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures where necessary.
  • Execute scheduled cycle counts following established procedures, reconcile physical stock with system records, and promptly escalate discrepancies.
  • Review and analyze negative stock reports, initiating. documenting and resolving inventory issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and deliver stock analyses and management reports that are precise, clear, and actionable for decision-making.
  • Support and maintain inventory security in strict compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Help safeguard stock integrity across all storage locations, Distribution Centres, and warehouses.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as accurate data entry, system updates, and record maintenance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Unicomer (Barbados) Ltd.’s systems, policies, and procedures related to inventory management and warehouse operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Strong administrative and database management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to analyze issues, think creatively, and solve problems effectively.
  • Solid knowledge of inventory control and related processes.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Resilience under pressure with great stress management skills.
  • A proactive, “think outside the box” mindset that drives innovation and efficiency.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

  • A minimum of three (3) CXC/O’ Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in inventory management, inventory control or similar role.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
