Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and replenishment of stock across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain inventory systems, and support operational efficiency to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
- Monitor stock levels and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyse and reconcile large data sets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Logistics teams to forecast inventory needs and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Maintain and update inventory databases and systems to reflect real-time stock movements.
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
- Ensure proper labelling, organization, and storage of inventory items.
- Prepare inventory reports for internal stakeholders on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Support the implementation of inventory best practices, including tracking key metrics such as:
- Inventory turnover rate
- Stock accuracy percentage
- Order fulfilment rate
- Shrinkage rate
- Identify and address inefficiencies in inventory processes to improve operational effectiveness.
- Assist in training new team members on inventory procedures and systems.
Qualifications and Experience
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Experience with inventory systems and ERP platforms.
- SAP experience is required, with preference for candidates familiar with SAP PP (Production Planning).
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyse and explain large data sets clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
