We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic food service team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock rotation, and supporting procurement planning to keep operations running efficiently.

Are you detail-oriented with a knack for keeping operations running smoothly? Join our team as an Inventory Analyst and play a key role in ensuring accurate stock control and seamless supply chain operations in our fast-paced food service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain precise inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and HACCP-compliant storage practices.

  • Analyse inventory trends to support procurement planning and minimise stockouts or overstock.

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Support the rollout of inventory control systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage procedures are followed in line with HACCP and food safety protocols.

  • Assist in training warehouse and stores personnel on best practices.

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to align inventory strategies with operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, preferably in food service or catering.

  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards.

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Collaborative team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience with ERP or WMS platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).

  • Familiarity with airline catering or large-scale food production logistics.

  • Proven ability to conduct inventory counts, reconcile variances, and maintain accurate records.

  • Strong forecasting and operational planning skills.

  • Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and warehouse efficiency.
