Inside Sales Support –LIGHTING & POWER

PRINCIPAL DUTIES 

• Assisting customers, including company staff, both in the store and on the telephone with product selection and pricing information.
• Working with the sales team and the warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries.
• Assisting the sales team with preparing quotations and customer follow ups.
• Working with design professional/contractor to develop quotations.
• Developing and maintaining an email listing for design professionals, existing and potential customers i.e. Electrical Engineers, Architects, electrical contractors, electrical retailers.
• Preparing all invoicing, POS and call in for Syspro information.
• Sending PO’s to suppliers and liaising with them as needed.
• Responding to social media inquiries as necessary.
• Assisting with account receivables.
• Tracking orders from foreign suppliers and updating tracking information file.
• Developing specification sheets for Light Source and Branded Products.
• Performing any other duties which management may from time-to-time delegate to you. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 5 CXC O’ Level passes inclusive of Mathematics and English A.
• Must possess two to three years’ experience in electrical/lighting sector.
• Must have two to three years’ experience in customer service.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
