IT Technician

A professional IT Tech to support our office and retail operations across multiple locations. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong troubleshooting ability, networking knowledge, and the flexibility to provide support when business-critical issues arise.

• Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve IT hardware and software issues in office and retail environments
  • Support POS-related devices, printers, scanners, PCs, and peripherals
  • Provide networking support (connectivity, intranet, branch network issues)
  • Assist with server/backend support and system reliability
  • Install, configure, and update software and systems
  • Maintain issue logs and provide technical documentation
  • Coordinate with external vendors where required and ensure task completion
  • Provide after-hours/weekend/public holiday support when urgent operational issues arise

  Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • BSc  (Hons) Degree Computers and Information Systems

  • Proven experience in IT troubleshooting and repair
  • Working knowledge of networking and server/backend fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and customer-facing demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to urgent issues
  • Reliable personal vehicle (required)
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and provide a clean police certificate 
  • Competent with Operating systems (Windows, Unix MAC OS,  and Linux)
  • Two references (required)
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and provide a clean police certificate

  Assets

  • 1-2 years experience with Retail Management System
  • Experience supporting retail environments (multi-branch preferred)
  • Exposure to inventory management software and accounting software
  • Familiarity with retail payment devices and systems
