Job Title: IT Service Technician

Overview:
We are seeking an IT Service Technician to join our team. This role is critical to our Azure migration and ongoing IT modernization efforts, and requires strong hands-on technical expertise with Microsoft environments. The Technician will be responsible for supporting and maintaining hardware, software, servers, and network systems, while ensuring compliance with IT and security standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically sharp, and experienced with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Azure migration, cloud technologies, and modernization projects.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, and devices.
Provide timely support to users, resolving IT issues and communicating progress updates.
Administer network security, privacy measures, and malware protection systems.
Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Servers, and cloud phone systems.
Support remote access solutions (VPN, Citrix, Remote Desktop Services).
Conduct IT infrastructure assessments, maintain documentation, and create reports.
Guide users on new systems, software, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with IT, cyber, and security protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years’ experience in IT support or system administration with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Certifications such as MS Azure Fundamentals, MS 365 Certified Fundamentals, Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA, or MCP are strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Windows Servers, and networking (TCP/IP).
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM is a plus.
