IT Procurement and Vendor Manager
Salary Range: CI$60,060 - $78,516 per annum
(US$71,500 - US$93,471)

The IT Procurement and Vendor Manager is a key member of the Computer Services Department, assisting in its administration and ensuring the delivery of effective and responsible services to our customers. Under the guidance of the Deputy Director, the postholder plays a pivotal role in planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and controlling IT procurement and vendor management activities within the Unit. The primary responsibility of an IT Procurement and Vendor Manager is to manage the procurement process and vendor relationships specifically related to information technology (IT) goods and services within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts with IT vendors, overseeing the acquisition of IT hardware and software, and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and complies with the Cayman Islands government procurement regulations. The IT Procurement and Vendor Manager plays a critical role in optimizing IT procurement processes and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to support the organization's technology needs.

 
Education & Experience
The post-holder must possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with
a minimum of three (3) years of post-graduate IT Procurement experience; OR

• A mature entrant with an industry-recognized relevant technical accreditation such as CPP with a minimum of Six (6) years of
relevant IT Procurement and IT Vendor Management Experience.

• Experience in a managerial or leadership role is highly desirable.
