The Head of Procurement and Purchasing is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the procurement strategy for direct purchasing, coordinating overseas logistics, and leading efforts to optimize supply chain efficiency for the Island. This position plays a crucial role in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures, negotiating contracts with overseas suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials to achieve luxury quality, cost savings and operational efficiencies.
It will provide direct oversight of Jumby Bay Island Co.’s purchasing and inventory department to ensure that the procurement and inventory management processes align with the Island’s overall strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of international procurement and logistics while effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and providing guidance and support to the purchasing teams.
