The IT Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the streamlined operation of the IT department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This role involves planning, coordinating, directing, and designing IT-related activities.
Supreme Ventures Services Limited, a subsidiary of Supreme Ventures Limited, is seeking to identify a Information and Technology Operations Manager for their shared serviced IT Department.
The ideal candidate will design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements, participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the executive team, develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management, benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems,prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts. He/She will also oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals, manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, and ensur system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware and other applications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (core duties)
Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts.

Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
•
Test server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure.
•
Integrate servers, including database, e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systems.
•
Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications.
•
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
•
Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
•
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.

Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
•
Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
CONSTRUCTING A DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN:
•
Creating, testing and implementing network disaster recovery plans
•
Test the steps and methods to ensure that all tests are still relevant
•
Review plans and make relevant changes when necessary

Establishes and implements performance standards and goals, as well as departmental policies and procedures, which will enable the Technology department to function more effectively and efficiently.

Stabilize and strengthen information Technology platforms to improve functionality, performance, usability and ability to deliver on agreed ROI drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Infrastructure Management.
•
Strong knowledge of local area network administration.
•
Benchmark, analyse, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
•
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
•
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including [firewalls, Routers and Switches].
