The ideal incumbent plays a key role in the company’s digital transformation strategy, working closely with Business Intelligence (BI), Operations, and Executive Leadership to align technology with business goals, drive efficiency, and create a scalable digital ecosystem.

Job Purpose:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of all technological operations across the company. This role ensures that IT systems and strategies support the company's business goals, including Application & ERP system development, cloud services, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and user support. The IT Manager will also lead database administration, application development, system integration, and the strategic scaling of the IT function. The ideal incumbent plays a key role in the company’s digital transformation strategy, working closely with Business Intelligence (BI), Operations, and Executive Leadership to align technology with business goals, drive efficiency, and create a scalable digital ecosystem.


 Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, wireless access points, cabling, printers, workstations, and on-premises hardware.
  • Oversee proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and regular health checks of IT systems and services to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup solutions to ensure data security and system resilience.
  • Pilot the implementation, customization, and integration of ERP systems, ensuring alignment with business workflows.
  • Lead the development and support of internal applications, tools, and platforms that enhance productivity and operational control.
  • Manage the full software lifecycle—from concept to deployment—for both in-house and third-party applications.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective operations.
  • Design and maintain data architecture and integration pipelines (APIs, ETL processes) between systems including ERP, CRM, HRMS, and customer portals.
  • Collaborate with BI and Data Analysts to ensure accurate, secure, and structured data availability for reporting, dashboards, and modelling.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity frameworks, access controls, and IT governance protocols.
  • Monitor and respond to suspected misuse, data breaches, unauthorized access, and other digital threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Act as a digital transformation champion—identifying, evaluating, and implementing technologies that streamline workflows, reduce costs, and create competitive advantages.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to optimize operational data pipelines, automate reporting, and improve data visualization and decision-making tools.
  • Lead the adoption of modern digital tools across departments, integrating analytics and automation into daily operations.
  • Manage a company-wide IT Help Desk and ticketing system for rapid hardware and software issue resolution.
  • Provide internal and external user support for platforms, access permissions, system changes, and technical onboarding.
  • Communicate IT updates, outages, and protocols clearly and consistently to all staff levels.
  • Manage all IT-related third-party vendors, MSPs, software consultants, and hardware suppliers.
  • Lead procurement and testing of new technology solutions through structured vendor evaluation processes.
  • Oversee IT-related projects and implementations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery.
  • Build and lead the IT team as the department scales, promoting a performance-driven, service-oriented culture.
  • Develop internal SOPs, documentation, training sessions, and governance frameworks to improve IT literacy and system adoption across the business.
  • Define KPIs for system performance, support response time, user satisfaction, and overall IT effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring responsible allocation of funds across infrastructure, licenses, tools, and projects.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process automation, and return on technology investment.

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years in IT leadership with proven experience in ERP systems (preferably Business Central), application development, cloud management, and IT security.
  • Strong experience leading digital transformation initiatives, IT infrastructure projects, and system integration efforts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, SQL Server, and API development.
  • Experience collaborating with BI or Data teams to deliver high-value insights and optimize business performance.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills.
