The IT Project Officer supports the planning, coordination and execution of technology projects across the Group

Job Summary

The IT Project Officer supports the planning, coordination and execution of technology projects across the Group. The role assists the Group Project Manager with project documentation, stakeholder coordination, tracking progress and ensuring project activities are delivered on time and within scope.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assisting with planning and scheduling project tasks, milestones and deliverables.
  2. Maintaining project documentation, reports, risk logs and issue registers.
  3. Tracking project progress and preparing status updates as required.
  4. Supporting coordination between technical teams, vendors and business units.
  5. Assisting with organizing meetings, workshops and review sessions.
  6. Supporting requirements gathering and documentation.
  7. Assisting with UAT coordination and rollout activities.
  8. Helping monitor project change requests and configuration updates.
  9. Providing general support during implementations or deployments.
  10. Assisting with budget tracking and resource allocation logs.
  11. Maintaining project dashboards and tracking tools.
  12. Documenting meeting actions and follow-up activities.
  13. Supporting communication of project updates and training materials

 Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in IT, project coordination or business analysis.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience using productivity or collaboration tools (MS Office, Teams).
