I.T Manager

IT Manager oversee the entire operations of the day-to-day support of all IT systems, business systems, office systems, computer networks and telephony systems throughout the hotel.

1. Manage information technology and computer systems
2. Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
3. Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
4. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
5. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
6. Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
7. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
8. Audit systems and assess their outcomes
9. Direct research in emerging technology by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
10. Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
11. Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures
12. Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements
13. Install hardware and peripheral components
14. Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems
15. Administer email and anti-virus systems
16. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to all corporate software in a timely manner
17. Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts
