Assist with HR practices, processes and strategies. Their duties include Managing the recruitment process, planning and implementing training programs for staff and ensuring that employees follow best practices and company policies

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Officer to lead our. 
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing and implementing HR initiatives that drive business results.

  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and issues.
    • Facilitate resolutions to conflicts or issues.
    • Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist in performance management processes.
    • Monitor employee performance and coordinate with management on employee reviews.
    • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
    • Plan and schedule training sessions for staff.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
    • Update HR databases (e.g., new hires, separations, vacation, and sick leaves).
    • Prepare HR documents,  employment contracts and new hire guides.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
    • Assist with promoting HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
    • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist with Conducting safety training and ensure the company’s health and safety policies are up to date.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Assist with payroll processing.
    • Administer employee benefit programs, such as health insurance, pension plans, etc.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

  • The HR Officer will primarily work in an office environment but may be required to attend meetings or training sessions outside the office.
  • Occasional travel may be required for recruitment, training, or HR conferences.
