Oversee and direct all activities within the HC department for the Unicomer organization in Curacao. Lead and give input to the HC strategy development, attract, retain and engage the right talent to drive an energetic and engaging working environment to supports the company’s growth ambitions.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Ensures that all human resource demand of the operations is being filled with the right qualified candidates (both from job qualifications as DNA perspective).
• Oversees the full recruitment and selection process cycle including its compliance, partnering with various business units to ensure that headcount is properly monitored and that the organizational charts are up to date and in line with the established business needs
• Builds and supports developmental programs, policies and workflows to ensure that onboarding, role transitions and orientation are done in accordance with the Unicomer standards
• Designs and delivers learning and developmental programs, by conducting training needs analysis, developing and administering organizational training plans and evaluating training programs in aid of meeting current and future business competency requirements
• Manages and implements Performance Management processes, succession planning, talent mapping and provides coaching/mentoring to drive a high performance culture that will create and support new business opportunities
• Manages and implements Employee Engagement initiatives to influence behavioral change and achieve desired business culture
• Leads the development and implementation of initiatives to improve the organizational Unicomer VOICE results
• Plans and prepares strategic plans, budget spend and key metrics that support analysis and business decisions to ensure optimal functionality, performance and efficiency; being able to achieve local deliverables in line with established goals and business strategy
• Leads the execution of all operational and general office tasks
• Oversees and manages 2-3 direct reports

Minimum Experience, Skills & Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in a similar HC leadership role with a track record in developing talent.
• Able to work with MS365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Payroll Pro is a plus.
• Business Analytical Skills

• Able to communicate clearly both written and verbal
• Business Partnership and Consultation skills
• Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems
• Knowledge of workforce planning and talent management practices
• A strong strategic and business mindset and
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
