Job Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness across all assigned units. This role emphasizes early detection of maintenance issues, preservation of property, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for occupants.

This position is based in Toco/Trinidad.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive interior cleaning of five (5) units, including:
    • Dusting, sweeping, and mopping of floors.
    • Cleaning washrooms, bathroom shower enclosures, and vanity mirrors.
    • Making beds and changing linens.
    • Cleaning glass doors and windows.
    • Sanitizing kitchen surfaces, cupboards, and appliances.
    • Caring for interior wood surfaces (floors, windows, and furniture)
    • Washing and organizing linens, towels, and related items.

  • Monitor and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Assist with light coordination of cleaning supplies and inventory.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1–2 years in housekeeping or custodial services preferred
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • Good communication skills for reporting and coordination
    • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and safety procedures
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Other:
    • Reliability, integrity, and a professional attitude
