MINIMUM QUALIFYING CRITERIA

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related field
• At least 12 months experience in enterprise data back-up and recovery tools
• At least 12 months systems support and development experience
• Awareness of ITIL processes
• At least 12 months experience in application compiling and interface development

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Advanced knowledge of Windows – Server and Desktop OS
• Advanced knowledge of PC hardware architecture
• Sound knowledge of LAN architecture and concepts
• Sound knowledge of Data Protection concepts
• Familiarity with MS SQL databases, SQL and Visual Basic
• Familiarity with the Systems Development Life Cycle
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Ability to interface with internal customers and stakeholders
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES

• Provides effective and efficient Help Desk support
• Provides support for PC infrastructure services to ensure user help support and satisfaction
• Provides support for phone system, photocopiers, printers and multifunction printers
• Compliance with Global IT Framework
