Health Services Manager
The Health Services Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing the overall administration of health services across UTech’s campuses, to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality health services for the University community.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Registration with a recognized health professional regulatory body in Jamaica.
- Master’s in Business Administration/Public Administration/Health Administration/Health Care Administration or equivalent qualifications.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ progressively responsible experience in health services management or administration.
- Knowledge of the University of Technology, Jamaica Act, 1999, Charter, Statutes, Ordinances, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Sound knowledge of health and medical care, and related products and services.
- Working knowledge of health systems and government legislation relating to health care delivery in the public sector and university environment, in particular.
- Budget preparation and monitoring.
- Strategic Management capability
