Job Title: HSSE Performance & Enablement Coordinator

Reports to: Group HSE Manager, Head of Security
JOB SUMMARY
The Group HSSE Performance & Enablement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, enabling, and assuring the effective planning, reporting, governance, and performance tracking of HSSE and Security activities across the Group.
The role provides structured technical coordination and administrative support to HSSE and Security leaders, ensuring consistency, visibility, risk maturity tracking, and closure of actions, without acting as the technical owner of specialist disciplines.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
Governance, Planning and Enablement
- Coordinate Group HSSE & Security governance processes, calendars, and reporting cycles; align to Group governance systems (Councils, Performance Reviews, Executive dashboards).
- Coordinate annual HSSE & Security business planning; track delivery against approved plans and escalate slippage.
- Maintain Group risk registers, action trackers, and improvement plans with clear ownership and due dates.
Performance, Reporting and Analytics
- Consolidate HSSE & Security data from subsidiaries; validate completeness, trends, and integrity; prepare executive‑ready dashboards and performance packs.
- Assure data validation within the digital GHSSER/HSSER reporting solution; recommend improvement actions and track closure to completion.
- Lead performance reporting for HSSER Management System meetings and Group governance forums (Exec and MD‑level inputs).
Risk, Assurance & Compliance
- Work with subsidiaries to ensure HSSE risks are correctly identified, assessed, and controlled in collaboration with HSSE Managers and Head of Risk.
- Coordinate, and where required, conduct, Level 2 audits of HSSE risk controls and site inspections for compliance with HSSE standards: track and close corrective actions.
- Contribute to Priority‑1 HSSE Standards Assessments; analyze results and lead the closure management of improvement actions.
- Support risk maturity assessments and Group‑wide benchmarking, maintaining clear evidence trails.
Training, Emergency Response & Operations Support
- Deliver Emergency Response training, contractor safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety equipment inspections/certifications.
- Coordinate accident and injury reporting and investigations; provide First Aid and Fire Warden training on a 2‑year cycle aligned to Group Crisis Management and Emergency Response requirements.
Stakeholder and Process Management
- Serve as the central coordination point among Group HSE, Group Security, subsidiary HSSE Managers, and Risk/Audit/Strategy functions, ensuring documentation, approvals, and reporting timelines are met.
Tools and Systems Ownership
- Subject‑matter expert for Group HSSE Standards within the Safety Management System; lead planning for HSSE Business Activity Plans; act as SME/admin for Risk LogicGate; leverage Power BI for reporting.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
- MSc Coastal Engineering & Management or BSc Geography
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Training in Project Management Fundamentals, Process Safety, Accident/Incident Reporting, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment
- ISO 31000, ISO 22301, ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Auditing
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
