JOB TITLE:                        HSSE PERFORMANCE & COMPLIANCE SENIOR ANALYST

REPORTS TO:                  GROUP HSE MANAGER, HEAD OF SECURITY

JOB PURPOSE:

This role strengthens HSSE performance by ensuring accurate data validation, supporting risk management, and driving continuous improvement of HSSE standards. It conducts Level 2 audits, site inspections, and HSSE assessments; collaborates with subsidiaries to identify risks and implement effective controls; and leads closure of improvement actions. The position also delivers emergency response and safety-related training, manages HSSER performance reporting, and serves as the subject matter expert for HSSE standards and the Risk LogicGate system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyzes and assures data validation for the HSSE data reported on the digital GHSSER Reporting Solution recommended and closure management of improvement actions.

3. Works with subs to ensure all HSSE risks are correctly identified, assessed, and the appropriate controls are identified and implemented in collaboration with HSSE Managers and the Head of Risk.
4. Conducts Level 2 audits of HSSE risk controls, site inspections for compliance with HSSE standards, and inspection of status of controls for compliance in collaboration with HSSE Managers and the Head of Risk.
5. Contributes to developing Priority 1 HSSE Standards Assessments, conducting HSSE Assessments, and analyzing results and determining improvement actions in collaboration with Heads of HSE and Security. Lead on the closure management of improvement actions.
6. Conducts Emergency Response Training, contractor safety inductions and toolbox talks, safety equipment inspections and certification, accident and injury reporting and investigation, First Aid and Fire Warden training every 2 years in alignment with the compliance requirements for Group Crisis Management and Emergency Response.
7. Lead on the management of the HSSER Management System (performance meetings) and reporting on HSSER performance as defined in the AML Governance System (Councils, Performance Delivery Meetings at the Executive level and MD level input requirements).

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• MSc Coastal Engineering & Management or BSc Geography
• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Training in Project Management Fundamentals, Process Safety, Accident/Incident Reporting, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment
• ISO 31000, ISO 22301, ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Auditing
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification
