HR Officer
CAREER OPPORTUNITY (CONTRACT)
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day Human Resources operations of the Company across a range of functional areas, including employee benefits and services, HR systems support, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee documentation, and general HR operations. The role also provides support to employees and management by ensuring the timely and efficient administration of HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the administration of employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, confirmations, acting appointments, upgrades, and separations.
Coordinate retirement and termination processes, including employee meetings, documentation, system updates, and communication with relevant departments.
Assist with employee benefits administration for monthly and weekly paid employees, including enrollment, updates, medical claims processing, and liaison with service providers and the Employee Wellness Team.
Update and maintain HR systems with employee changes including salary adjustments, transfers, promotions, confirmations, and employee records updates.
Prepare HR-related correspondence and employee letters including job letters, transfer letters, promotion letters, and confirmation letters.
Maintain accurate employee files and ensure proper filing and record management practices are upheld.
Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, systems, and employee-related queries.
Coordinate procurement and distribution of uniforms, name badges, and other employee-related resources.
Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives as required.
Assist with HR reporting, audits, data verification, and compliance-related activities.
Train and support HR system users and timekeepers, including troubleshooting store-level issues and granting appropriate system access.
Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure efficient delivery of HR services.
Prepare and process invoices and other administrative documentation related to HR operations.
Assist with the coordination and distribution of official documents and correspondence.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR Department as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources or HR Administration.
Working knowledge of HR systems and HR operational processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
