HR Officer – Culture Development and Change Management

Main Purpose of Job:

The HR Officer – Culture Development and Change Management will support driving organizational transformation by leading culture development and supporting change initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various departments to design and implement strategies that cultivate a positive organizational culture, promote employee engagement, and facilitate smooth transitions during times of change. This role supports the coordination of the Management of Change (MoC) process across the Group as applicable, ensuring that change management practices are seamlessly integrated to support the Group’s strategic objectives.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:


 Culture Development:

  • Support the design and rollout of strategies that promote an organizational culture aligned to the Group’s core values, PRIME.
  • Design and implement initiatives that foster a culture of collaboration, diversity, equity, innovation, inclusion and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Conduct culture assessments and surveys to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for cultural enhancement.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, guiding management and employees in embodying and promoting the desired culture.

 

Change Management:

  • Lead the development and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Support the management of the Management of Change (MoC) process across the Group as assigned, ensuring that all change initiatives are effectively planned, communicated, and executed.
  • Conduct relevant surveys and focus groups to identify the impact of change on employees and develop plans to address any challenges.
  • Develop and deliver change management training and communication plans to ensure that all assigned personnel are informed, engaged, and prepared for changes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with assigned personnel to support organizational transformation initiatives, helping them to communicate effectively and lead by example during transitions.

 

 Employee Engagement:

  • Collaborate with assigned personnel to develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular employee engagement surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with management to develop action plans based on survey results and track progress towards engagement goals.
  • Promote open communication and transparency throughout the Group, ensuring that employees are kept updated about changes as required.

 

Leadership Development and Support:

  • Provide support to senior management to help them navigate cultural and organizational change.
  • Support the develop and delivery of training programs that equip management with the skills needed to lead effectively during times of change.
  • Support senior management in communicating change initiatives and engaging their teams in the process.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in culture development and change management.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of culture and change initiatives and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with assigned personnel to ensure alignment and consistency aligned to Group policies and procedures.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in culture development, change management, and employee engagement.

 

Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of culture development practices and their impact on organizational success.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and influence without authority.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Computer literacy is required e.g., MS Office.
