The HR Lead – IR, ER, and Compliance will be responsible for driving HR best-practice strategies that improve employee engagement, policy conformance, regulatory, and employment laws compliance.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Lead – IR, ER, and Compliance will be responsible for driving HR best-practice strategies that improve employee engagement, policy conformance, regulatory, and employment laws compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effective administration of industrial and employee relations, performance evaluations, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Advocates for consistent application of our Company’s values in the administration of employee matters
  • Partners with leadership, management, and supervisors to improve employee engagement, operational excellence, and drive performance-culture.
  • Develops and implements initiatives that maintain positive working relationships and improved team performance across Proman Trinidad.
  • Proactively utilises data and makes recommendations for improved alignment between HR and IR best-practices and business deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is an asset.
  • 7 years of supervisory experience in HR, 5 of which must be within the IR and ER field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, ADR, or CIPD) preferred.
  • Industrial Relations Certification
  • Strong advocacy, conflict resolution, management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
