  • The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR department within the Financial Services Sector by assisting with HR policy requests, providing administrative support, and administering new employee onboarding. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining a variety of HR reports.

Job Description:

  • Provide coverage for other members of the HR team when required.
  • Provide administrative support to HR team related to onboarding and exiting of employees.
  • Assist in compiling and preparing HR presentations and reports for HR and business leadership.
  • Manage the Employee Central system, ensuring all persons & positions you are the assigned HR Rep for, are fully updated within the Group HR policy timeframes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the new employee review process.
  • Provide support to staff to ensure compliance with policies, practices, and procedures for HR specific issues.
  • Research and respond to general employee and manager questions on HR policies and processes.
  • Ensure work is delivered within the HR QoSS standards established framework.
  • Provides prompt and quality Customer Service by projecting and demonstrating a high level of professionalism, courtesy and initiative in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
  • Coordinates the implementation of the Recruitment Strategy with HR Lead, Senior HR Coordinator and / or HR Assistants as well as Line Managers (example of tasks listed hereunder but not limited to):
    • Posting vacancies
    • Manpower Requests
    • Job Descriptions
    • Panel Selection
    • Interview Questions
    • Interview Reports (number of applications; number of interviewed and ranking scores; number of durations to fill
      vacancy).
  • Ensures documentation in support of new hires is complete and / or HR Assistants (examples
    listed hereunder):
    • New Salary Appointee Sheet
    • Reference Checks
    • Education Certificates
  • Ensures orientation, compliance and HSSE programmes are delivered to all new staff.
  • Ensure that all required payroll documents are passed HR Manager by the 13th Monthly to review in order to pass to payroll by the 15th monthly.
  • Manage the exit process for all unionized roles, inclusive of the exit interview, exit checklist and exiting off of Employee Central within the specified Group timeframe.
  • Work with HR Lead and Manager to prepare monthly board reports and submit to SHRM by the requested timeframes.
  • Ensure HRIS is fully updated as per Group Blue Book timelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Organization Charts are updated, and Manpower Reports are accurate.
  • Perform any other related duties as requested.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or similar qualification.
  • At least 2-3 years’ working experience.
  • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (Intermediate)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
  • SAP (Intermediate)
