HR Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department to ensure the effective delivery of HR services. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, administering HR systems, benefits, leave and training, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and assisting with HR projects and engagement initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and update core HR systems, including the HR Information System (HRIS)
Administer employee benefits, leave tracking, and contract management in line with company policy.
Ensure that employee personal files are up to date with all relevant documents as per requirements.
Assist with the identification, selection, and interviewing of candidates and provide support for the administrative and onboarding of the new hire process.
Provide timely and professional support in all areas of the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure goals are achieved.
Ensure that all employee leave types are tracked and analysed, and make recommendations based on findings on a timely basis.
Assist with the execution of HR engagement activities or HR projects as and when required.
Co-ordinate training sessions and maintain accurate records of these in the employee files.
Assist with the administration of benefit programs, conduct periodic audits; reconciliations for compliance and accuracy, making recommendations where necessary.
Prepare various correspondences, reports, and other documentation as required.
