Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an understanding of HR processes, and a passion for contributing to a positive workplace environment. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist in job postings, resume screening, and assist in the scheduling and coordination of interviews.
    • Maintain a database of applicants for future use (resume bank).
    • Support the HR team with pre-employment checks, reference checks, and offer letter preparation.
  • Employee Onboarding:
    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing documentation, scheduling orientation sessions, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
    • Assist in setting up new employees with their workstations, access to company systems, and other necessary resources.
  • Employee Records Management:
    • Maintain and update employee files and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Process HR-related paperwork, such as job letters, HR correspondence, memos, and other employee status changes.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Process the enrollment, maintenance, and communication of employee benefits programs (health insurance, pension, life etc.).
    • Inform TATIL of exits, transfers, promotions, and salary increases at the end of each month.
    • Answer employees’ questions regarding benefits and assist with benefits-related documentation.
  • HR Reporting and Documentation:
    • Assist in preparing HR reports on metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, and employee satisfaction.
    • Ensure that HR documentation is organized and accessible when needed.
    • Assist with notetaking in Disciplinary Hearing meetings and preparation of Disciplinary packages.
  • General HR Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining HR calendars, and preparing HR-related materials.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and familiarity with HR practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HR software (SAP) is a plus.
