Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Revenue Operations and Payments team in the capacity of:

 HEART Trainee -
Revenue Operations and Payments 

Provide quality customer service to the Company’s policyholders and process policy changes promptly and accurately.

In partnership with HEART/NSTA TRUST, Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking candidates for the School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) specially designed to bridge the gap between school and the world of work for recent school leavers. Our School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) is for school leavers between the ages of 17 to 23, who have six or more CXC or GCE passes including English Language and Mathematics. In the SLTOP, trainees have the opportunity to work with Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited for up to one year, where they can fully acquaint themselves with the company’s daily operations in order to gain rich, immersive practical knowledge.

Location: Kingston

As HEART Trainee - Revenue Operations and Payments, you will:

• Process request to E-services, Electronic Funds Transfer and Authority and Indemnity forms.
• Update client web, E-CRIS and capsil with information from applications for E-Services, EFT and Indemnity.
• Assist with receptionist duties.
• Log and provide clients who visit for Customer Service with requested information.
• Perform any other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• A minimum of six (6) subjects at the GCE (Ordinary) or CSEC (General) level, including English Language and a numeric subject.
• LOMA – Parts 1 and 2, or other industry-related designation.
• One (1) year’s work experience in the operations division of a life insurance company.
• Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Sound knowledge of the company’s products and services.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be persuasive, empathetic and tactful.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
