HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

OVERVIEW

A Human Resource (HR) Officer is responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members. They also assist with payroll management, so employees receive their paychecks on time. 

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must have basic knowledge of HR labour laws, principles and practices
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced office
• Must have 3-5 years’ experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in the HR field, preferably
• Ability to solve problems creatively and resourcefully
• Recruit, interview and select appropriately qualified job applicants
• Possess a high level of integrity and initiative
• A strong frontrunner with exceptional communication skills

RESTAURANT MANAGERS

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and staff
• Ensure excellent customer service, efficiency and profitability
• Schedule team shifts and assign tasks

GAUCHOS/MEAT CARVERS

• Overseeing the preparation of the meats
• Carving and serving meat selections table-side to the guests
• Other job duties and responsibilities

COOKS

• Prepare high quality dishes according to recipes and standards
• Keep kitchen area and equipment clean and organized
• Assist with inventory, stocking and plating

SERVERS AND SERVER ASSISTANTS

• Provide excellent customer service when taking orders and serving food & drinks
• Check customers are satisfied with meals and act on feedback
• Work closely with kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery

HOSTESSES

• Be the face of the restaurant! Greet customers and accompany them to tables
• Manage restaurant guest list and seating flow
• Perform opening and closing duties

KITCHEN PREP ATTENDANTS

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring per recipe needs
• Maintain sufficient levels of food items and ingredients
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures

BARTENDERS

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers
• Check IDs and serve responsibly
• Maintain bar inventory and cleanliness

• Working 2-3 years in a similar type environment
• 2 references from previous employers
