About the Role
GCG Group Trinidad is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Guest Service Attendant to join our on-board hospitality team. This role is based on a vessel, supporting daily food and beverage operations, guest interactions, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and professionalism in a fast-paced marine environment, working on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule.
Provide exceptional guest service aboard the vessel, ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout the journey.
Respond to passenger queries and requests promptly and courteously in accordance with company standards.
Assist with the setup, preparation, and service of meals and beverages at assigned dining areas or service points.
Support kitchen and production teams with meal preparation, plating, and packaging.
Perform cash handling and related transactions as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining, service, and storage areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Participate in safety drills and uphold all emergency, crowd control, and crisis management procedures on board.
Execute additional duties as assigned by the Onboard Supervisor or Management Team.
Pre-Sea Certification (mandatory).
Crowd & Crisis Management Certification (mandatory).
Certification in Food & Beverage Service and Food Safety.
Practical knowledge of food preparation, garnishing, and event coordination.
Minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE O’ Level passes, including Mathematics and English Language.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to deliver professional service in a hospitality or marine environment.
Ability to work efficiently within a rotational schedule and team-oriented setting.
