OUR NEED
We are seeking a Group Data Analyst to provide support at a group-level high-quality data analysis, BI reporting, and insights for reporting and decision-making. The role focuses on building and maintaining dashboards, analysing data across multiple entities, ensuring data accuracy, and driving improvements in reporting, automation, and data processes across the group.
KEY DUTIES
Included among the duties and responsibilities are: -
- BI Reporting & Data Analysis – Develop, maintain and enhance BI Reports and extract and analyse data from multiple systems.
- Data Quality & Governance – Perform data validation checks and investigate anomalies and document data process and controls.
- Shareholder Support & Insight – Partner with all stakeholders to understand reporting needs and respond with insights to impact on decision making.
- Systems & Process Improvement – Contribute to system enhancement initiatives, support reporting solutions and identify continuous data improvement flows.
DESIRED BACKGROUND/SKILLS
The incumbent should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- Experience creating and analysing reports in Power BI (or similar BI tools).
- 3+ years’ experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI-focused roles.
- 3+ years’ experience working across multiple systems or entities is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets, strong Excel skills and experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Understanding of accounting principles and group reporting.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
