GROUP ANALYST – BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (ACADO LIMITED)

The Group Analyst – Business Intelligence collaborates with stakeholders and departments across Acado and Agostini Group companies in all regions to address business challenges by harnessing business intelligence platforms and integrated data solutions.

Position Summary:

The Group Analyst – Business Intelligence collaborates with stakeholders and departments across Acado and Agostini Group companies in all regions to address business challenges by harnessing business intelligence platforms and integrated data solutions. 

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and prioritize data and reporting needs, ensuring business intelligence solutions are aligned with organizational objectives.
2. Process Mapping & Redesign: Document current data collection and reporting processes (“as-is”), and design future-state workflows (“to-be”) that optimize the use of BI tools and platforms.
3. Gap Analysis: Assess gaps between business intelligence requirements and existing data infrastructure or reporting capabilities. Recommend enhancements, integrations or process improvements to bridge these gaps.
4. BI Solution Ownership: Serve as the subject-matter expert for BI platforms and reporting modules, such as Power BI, ensuring optimal utilization and continuous improvement across departments.
5. Report & Dashboard Design: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that transform complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
6. Integration Coordination: Define functional requirements for integrating BI solutions with other business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS, POS), ensuring seamless data flow and consolidated reporting.
7. Configuration Support: Partner with business teams to configure BI tools, set up data fields, workflows, and access roles, maintaining security and data integrity.
8. Data Quality & Migration Readiness: Establish data models, cleansing rules, validation criteria, and migration plans to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of BI outputs.
9. Testing: Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria for BI solutions; coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage defect resolution. 

Position Requirements: 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any relevant combination of education and experience.
• A background in Finance or Accounting would be an asset.
• Advanced certification in Power BI.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a Business Intelligence Officer or a Business Analyst role.
• In depth knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL and SSAS.
