Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping ground well-groomed, ensuring that landscaping, walkways, and facilities are welcoming and functional for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, watering, and fertilizing lawns and plants.
• Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Maintain walkways, parking areas, and outdoor facilities by sweeping, raking, and removing debris.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
• Monitor irrigation systems and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow/ice management, or storm cleanup.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and report hazards or needed repairs.
• Support special projects or events requiring outdoor setup and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment

• Outdoor setting with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.
• Use of manual and powered equipment.
• May require flexible hours depending on facility needs.
