Global Mobility Tax Specialist

The Global Mobility Tax Specialist supports the team by coordinating tax compliance for assignees, assisting with tax planning, and working with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings.

Key Accountabilities:-

• Coordinate global tax compliance processes for inbound and outbound assignees, including annual tax return preparation, hypothetical tax calculations, and equalization reconciliations.
• Liaises with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of home and host country tax returns as per set KPIs.
• Ensures the Work records in system for each case is updated in a timely manner.
• Assists with tax planning and cost projection models for new and ongoing assignments.
• Monitors changes in international tax laws that may impact mobility policies and practices.
• Supports the preparation and review of tax equalization or protection calculations and final settlement worksheets.
• Assists in guiding employees and stakeholders on tax policies and processes related to mobility.
• Supports audits and NOA related to Tax Return Preparation.

Qualifications & Experience:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Expatriate Tax or Global Mobility Tax, preferably in a Big 4 firm or Corporate Mobility function.
• Working knowledge of Global Tax regulations, double tax treaties, and hypothetical tax.
• Familiarity with tax equalization.
• Experience with Global Payroll, shadow payroll, and compensation accumulation processes is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
