General Manager – Food Manufacturing & Distribution

Reports to: Managing Director

JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, highly organized, and possess a proven track record in manufacturing and distribution management. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, ensuring operational excellence and implementing strategies that support the company's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage daily operations across all departments
• Develop and implement effective business strategies
• Allocate budget resources and monitor financial activities
• Formulate and enforce company policies and procedures
• Coordinate business operations and improve administrative systems
• Oversee hiring, training, and staff development
• Monitor, lead and motivate team members to achieve performance targets
• Manage vendor relationships and supply chain processes
• Identify new business opportunities and avenues for revenue growth
• Ensure high levels of customer service and client satisfaction
• Maintain and enhance the company’s public image and brand reputation

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within the food and beverage manufacturing/distribution sector
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and distribution chains in the industry
• Knowledge of Supermarket Trade
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs and improve profit margins
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and operational efficiency
