General Manager – Food Manufacturing & Distribution
Reports to: Managing Director
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, highly organized, and possess a proven track record in manufacturing and distribution management. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, ensuring operational excellence and implementing strategies that support the company's long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage daily operations across all departments
- Develop and implement effective business strategies
- Allocate budget resources and monitor financial activities
- Formulate and enforce company policies and procedures
- Coordinate business operations and improve administrative systems
- Oversee hiring, training, and staff development
- Monitor, lead and motivate team members to achieve performance targets
- Manage vendor relationships and supply chain processes
- Identify new business opportunities and avenues for revenue growth
- Ensure high levels of customer service and client satisfaction
- Maintain and enhance the company’s public image and brand reputation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within the food and beverage manufacturing/distribution sector
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and distribution chains in the industry
- Knowledge of Supermarket Trade
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs and improve profit margins
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and operational efficiency
