GRAPHIC ARTIST

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling? Our client is looking for a Graphic Artist to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for designing engaging, on-brand graphics for a variety of platforms and campaigns.

The Graphic Artist will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative visual solutions that enhance the branding and production services offered by the client. This individual will collaborate closely with the Production & Operations team to create compelling designs for signage, displays, and promotional materials, ensuring all projects align with the company's standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conceptualize and create original visual designs using advanced graphic design software or by hand.
• Develop and prepare drafts based on client briefs, ensuring that concepts are visually appealing and meet outlined objectives.
• Accurately interpret layouts, instructions, and client requirements to produce high-quality designs.
• Design graphics for promotional, branding, and commercial purposes, including but not limited to signage, displays, and digital or print materials.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs translate effectively to final output.
• Revise and amend designs based on client and management feedback to deliver results that exceed expectations.
• Stay up to date with industry design trends, software advancements, and best practices.
• Maintain organization within the design workspace, ensuring tools and resources are readily available and well-maintained.
• Proactively suggest innovative approaches to improve design and production processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or other relevant programs.
• Strong creative vision and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to design eye-catching visuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong business communication skills, with the ability to interpret and deliver on client requests.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-service-oriented mindset to ensure client satisfaction at every stage of the design process.
• A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of production workflows, including printing processes, is a plus.

Experience:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Experience in signage, branding, or production is an asset.
