A leading company in the food manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking an experienced General Manager – Factory Operations & Distribution to oversee its production, warehousing, quality assurance, procurement, and distribution operations.

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing large-scale food production, bakery operations, and commissary activities.
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing inventory control, warehousing, and cold/dry storage.
- Managing fleet operations and ensuring timely delivery to multiple outlets.
- Leading department managers across production, QA, warehouse, bakery, and purchasing.
- Developing operational strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Factory & Production Operations
- Develop and execute production schedules to meet demand and quality standards.
- Maintain operational efficiency, safety, and hygiene.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with food safety protocols.
Warehouse & Distribution
- Manage storage layouts, FIFO inventory systems, and stock levels.
- Oversee order processing, picking, staging, and dispatch to outlets.
- Monitor and report on inventory accuracy and loss prevention.
Fleet & Logistics
- Maintain company vehicles and manage distribution routes.
- Ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries islandwide.
People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop multi-department teams.
- Drive performance, training, and succession planning initiatives.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce workplace safety programs and HACCP guidelines.
- Maintain regulatory and operational compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Production, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–5 years in a senior management role in production, warehouse, or distribution operations
- Experience in food manufacturing and HACCP-regulated environments
- Valid General Driver’s License and Food Handler’s Permit
