Our Transformation team is currently looking for a talented Functional Analyst for Barbados who will serve as the primary liaison for resolving functional issues related to the Dealer Management System (DMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, including but not limited to SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other relevant systems. This role is essential for supporting business operations, optimizing system functionality, and training users. The Functional Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional business units, internal IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the efficient use and continual improvement of enterprise systems in alignment with business goals.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for functional issues related to DMS and ERP platforms, including incident resolution and user support.
- Investigate, analyse, and resolve system-related problems in a timely and effective manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Design and document functional workflows, system diagrams, and process maps to support issue resolution and process improvements.
- Recommend and coordinate the delivery of user and administrator training, ensuring a high level of user adoption and system literacy.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new requests and enhancements, working independently on routine tasks and escalating complex issues to IT leadership.
- Support the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and new functionalities by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Work with business users to develop functional requirements and reporting needs by analysing system data flow, usage, and business processes.
- Identify and address system inefficiencies or technical challenges, proposing practical solutions.
- Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders through progress reports, dashboards, and communications.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales departments to ensure systems support key business processes.
- Ensure functional solutions comply with data governance, security, and compliance standards.

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, Business Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar functional or business analyst role.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and/or Dealer Management Systems is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
- Ability to prepare structured and detailed documentation, reports, and training materials.
- Understanding of budgeting principles, cost tracking, and ROI analysis related to system initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is a plus.
- Prior experience in the automotive, dealership, or retail industry is a strong advantage.
