Forecourt Attendant/Pump Attendant

A Forecourt Attendant/Pump Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the station's fuel pumps.

The Service Station/Gas Station Forecourt Attendant/Pump Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the station's fuel pumps. They must ensure the accuracy of fuel and product sales and maintain the cleanliness of the fuel pumps and surrounding area. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a good level of physical fitness.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional service to customers.
• Direct vehicles to the respective pump for fueling.
• Receive and verify payments received from customers in accordance with outlined policies.
• Operate fuel pumps to ensure relevant fuel is dispensed into customer’s vehicle.
• Advise of and provide add-on services to customers.
• Assist in the receiving of fuel from Road Tank Wagons.
• Monitor and maintain the general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness of the forecourt.
• Ensure that all health, safety and security protocols are adhered to.
• Perform general administration duties and tasks.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Cashier/Shift Operator, Supervisor or Manager from time to time.

Minimum requirements

• Must be able to work rotation shifts.
• Must be able to read and write legibly.
• Must be able to stand long hours, walk briskly, bend, reach, lift, stretch, climb, perform repetitive motions and perform physical labour.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to climb Road Tank Wagons.

Training will be provided.

Wages TT$20.50 per hour
