The Finance Officer plays a key role in the finance department, supporting a range of financial tasks.
The Finance Officer is a pivotal member of the Finance Department, responsible for supporting core financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role encompasses payroll verification, balance sheet reconciliation, asset management, journal postings, and support for payables, receivables, and reporting. The Finance Officer also acts as a backup across key finance functions and liaises with internal and external stakeholders to uphold financial integrity.
Provide cross-functional backup in:
Accounts Payable: Process vendor payments.
Payroll: Ensure accurate payroll processing.
Accounts Receivable: Support collections and sales reconciliation.
Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting and analysis as required.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Currently pursuing or enrolled in a professional accounting designation is preferred
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience in both Accounts Payable and Receivable is an advantage
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
