Position: Field & Mobile Sales Agent

Location: Trinidad & Tobago

Employment Type: Contract

Salary: Base $4000.00 plus Commission 

Job description:

Overview

The Field & Mobile Sales Agent is responsible for driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand awareness through direct sales in communities, at events, and via mobile activations. The role focuses on selling the company’s broadband, TV, and fixed voice solutions while also handling cashing, assisting with customer queries in mobile store settings, and scouting new locations for future sales opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

Sales & Customer Acquisition

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets by identifying and closing new opportunities.
  • Conduct sales visits, community engagement, and partner plus program outreach.
  • Present and recommend the company’s broadband, TV, and fixed voice products to meet customer needs.
  • Generate leads through referrals, telesales follow-ups, and social media outreach.
  • Build strong customer relationships to increase conversion and reduce churn.
Events, Activations & Mobile Store Support

  • Participate in mobile store activations, pop-up shops, and community events to maximize sales and visibility.
  • Handle basic customer queries (billing, service questions, activations) during mobile store visits, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Process cash and transactions accurately in compliance with company cash handling procedures.
  • Support large-scale activations and partner plus events as directed by the Supervisor, Field & Mobile.
Location Scouting & Market Insights

  • Scout and recommend new high-potential locations for the mobile store or field team visits.
  • Share location insights, customer feedback, and competitor activity with the Supervisor, Field & Mobile.
  • Act as the company’s ambassador in communities, building awareness and identifying growth opportunities.
Customer Experience & Compliance

  • Deliver professional, customer-first service in every interaction.
  • Ensure sales are processed accurately and all required documentation is complete.
  • Educate customers on product usage, terms and conditions, and available self-help tools.
  • Adhere to compliance standards for cash, inventory, and transaction processing.
Reporting & Performance Support

  • Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily activity logs.
  • Provide timely feedback on location scouting, event performance, and customer insights.
  • Participate in training sessions to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years’ experience in sales, community outreach, or customer service (telecoms preferred).
  • Knowledge of broadband, TV, and fixed voice solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills; able to build rapport quickly in the field.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable handling cash transactions and ensuring accuracy in mobile sales environments.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and variable hours for events and activations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
